What we do
Healthcare Education & Health Information
The Healthcare Educational programs of the Medical Knowledge Institute are dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare and promoting humanitarian values in healthcare through education, and public health programs.
The knowledge base represented by MKI and our faculty comes not only from sound academic training, but also from years of hands-on experience in systems that range from direct intervention to the development of comprehensive medical delivery systems.
MKI's Healthcare Information programs are dedicated to providing access to reliable healthcare information for healthcare providers around the world.
At MKI, we believe that the consistent provision of such information, especially in developing and transitional countries, is the most effective and cost-efficient strategy for improvement in healthcare.

This remarkable work is achieved by ongoing workshops, where we educate on topics such as:
1. Blood (pdf)
2. Breast Cancer (pdf)
3. Diabetes - understanding it! (pdf)
4. Early Childhood Development (pdf)
5. Female Hygiene (pdf)
6. Hepatitis A, B & C (pdf)
7. Hypertension (pdf)
8. HIV/AIDS (pdf)
9. Oral Health (pdf)
10. Play it safe (pdf)
11. Sexual Offenses (pdf)
12. STI's (pdf)
13. Tuberculosis (pdf)
Other workshops include:
Promotion of HIV and AIDS Prevention, Treatment, Care and Support (pdf)
We also believe that prevention is only possible through adequate education where it is needed, at a level that is understood by the audience. It is in this vein that we execute the following programs within MKI, aimed at teaching the local population at different levels of intensity depending on the knowledge and education level present on the subject matter.
